The Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI) was established under Section 3 of the Malawi Engineering Institution Act, 2019 as the sole authority responsible for regulating engineering, the engineering profession, and allied disciplines in Malawi. MEI promotes professionalism, ethical practice, and engineering excellence in the public interest.
